J'Accuse on Trump's ultimatum to Putin, which developed during the Starmer-Trump summit in Scotland
Is there a perfect agreement between the two leaders? No, I don't think so. One is rowing against the other, but in the end, Trump gives in to Starmer's pressure. The British prime minister has convinced him that the situation in Gaza is dire and that the genocide caused by hunger, as well as bombing, is not fake news. Trump is forced to call his ally Netanyahu back: loosen the grip! Too many civilians are being killed at those poisoned food distribution points, managed by their own executioners. A disgrace in front of the eyes of those leaders now stripped of all credibility and honor. Even their own people cannot admit why they remain passive in the face of such carnage. Trump couldn't care less. He isn't interested in the fate and lives of the Palestinians, but rather in transforming Gaza into a Mar a Gaza. As for Starmer, he cannot help but consider that people in the UK and elsewhere are exhausted by daily witnessing scenes of death and horror beyond imagination. What must be emphasized is that the tycoon's mindset is not shaken by the blood of children and human rights violations, but by the sheer volume of business and money being offered to the White House to preserve both the American imperialist system and the power structures associated with it, represented by monarchical and dictatorial regimes around the world. The second issue addressed is the campaign against Russia, the so-called war in Ukraine, which Europeans, or those willing, have been vigorously supporting since Trump took office. He wants to continue it at all costs until final victory, and the influence of Starmer and other European leaders in changing the course of events and even Trump's own decisions, which were very soft and favorable to détente with Moscow, is clearly evident. At the end of the meeting, Trump told the press: "Putin has disappointed me. I don't want to talk to him anymore. In fact, I'm reducing the ultimatum I gave him from 60 days to eleven or twelve at the most. After that, I will impose further trade and financial sanctions against Moscow." In short, the usual comedy of art, the same pattern of intimidation and threats against Putin and Russia continues, despite the fact that Russia was the one attacked in the first place. This charade, however, cannot last long! In this context, one thing must be said: Putin's patience is unparalleled. However, we must ask ourselves whether Moscow's tactic of continuing to tolerate will pay off, or is it actually a one-way street? Feeling threatened every day, even with the possibility of bombing Moscow... speaks volumes about Moscow's medium- and long-term strategy. However, the attrition is underway and is and will always be costly, to the point of being unsustainable. Putin must keep this in mind and calculate the countermeasures needed to safeguarde the Moscow'interets. In the eyes of the Tycoon, Russia is a pawn, but in Putin's eyes, it is a major global power. The problem lies precisely in this difference of views. But in any case, Russia's countermoves are necessary, otherwise Moscow is doomed forever.
