J'Accuse of October 7, 2025, on Trump's decision to release Tomahawk missiles
The White House's release of Tomahawk missiles is not only "a dangerous escalation," as the Kremlin calls it, but in my opinion, a clear declaration of war, to which Putin and his Russia must respond appropriately, without any if or buts. It is a step toward World War III and a general war in Europe. As the days and months pass, one absolute truth is confirmed: that the Americans are the main instigators of the war, first with the warmonger Biden, who, with his "policy of all-out war against Russia," has exacerbated this conflict, deluding the Ukrainians first and the Europeans second that the war against Russia could be won in a few months and that Russia and Putin's dictatorship would collapse with a coup d'état or an inevitable popular uprising. Both possibilities have been ruled out by the developments following the Russian intervention against Kiev. Both the Putin regime and the Russian people have remained united and faithful to the underlying reasons behind the attack on the supposedly Nazi and pro-Western regime in Ukraine. All in all, during these three years of war, it was the Europeans and the Americans who paid a heavy price, financially supporting the weapons sent to Kiev, Europe's current rearmament plan, and the exorbitant cost of energy purchased from the prosperous and flourishing US market. But it is not only the unsustainable economic cost, but also the political level that is witnessing Europe's downfall, because it was precisely those founding values that were betrayed, not the ones the hypocritical representatives of the current Union were shouting about: it is not the myth of a free, democratic Europe that has been damaged by the Russian attack on Ukraine, but rather the very nature of the Union that has been altered and betrayed, so to speak, becoming imperialist and belligerent, and, I would say, in no way open to dialogue with other surrounding realities, which obviously are not and never will be similar to its history, its liberal tradition, and the values of civilization. Precisely today, civilization has abandoned its sacred place to barbarism and the manipulation of truth: we saw in Gaza how consistently Europe has defended its values of freedom, democracy, and the defense of human rights. So much effort has been put into supporting the genocidal state of Israel, which today celebrates the anniversary of the October 7 attack. It is ridiculous to hear Macron, after realizing that the entire world has condemned the genocide, come out with his belated but still welcome recognition of the Palestinian state. Better late than never! This ruling class of the Union is leading its nations to slaughter with the persistence with which it wants to deny the truth about the Ukrainian conflict. The truth, as we have said in a thousand ways and as authoritative and eminent historians and internationally renowned academics have said, is that NATO should not have expanded to its borders, much less set its hand on the Ukrainian cake. And here's what the great proverb says: "If you don't like the truth, may you die after hearing it." Today, the Tomahawks announced by Trump are the beginning of the death that will come if Zelensky dares to strike Russian cities with American missiles. It will be hell, and I wish Putin would say so clearly and not limit himself to the word "escalation."
