J'accuse, from Friday, March 6, 2026, of the barbarity and plague of our time

These days, watching the images of blood, war, and ruins on television, I have wondered if the desolation that has gripped the cities of the Middle East was inevitable, or rather, written into its destiny? A persistent barbarity that continues and shatters our lives and our deepest convictions. Tyranny reigns, and the level of cruelty and brutality employed is unprecedented, for the weapons used against the defenseless populations  of Iran and Lebanon are devastating, today with the destruction of the country's infrastructure such as desalination plants, public universities, research centers, refineries causing immense damage to the Iranians and their surrounding environment.just as the Iranian response against the cities of occupied Palestine—that is, Israel—undoubtedly is. But let us ask ourselves for a moment: why all this horror? Why such disintegration? Why prioritize war over dialogue? Because Netanyahu, a war criminal, is free to sow death and chaos in the Middle East, aided by the most controversial and aberrant US president ever; he knows no limit to his power except his own morality. Indeed, the morality of a man accused of pedophilia and other crimes, who is blackmailed on this very subject by those who possess evidence of these crimes and use it to influence the exercise of the power conferred upon him by the American Constitution.

There is no doubt that we are facing the absurd and a great epidemic, as Albert Camus would say in his famous novel The Plague (La peste): two bloodthirsty ( Accused in Pedophile's affair and Criminal of war) tyrants who consider war and death threats as the only means of resolving problems and restoring the balance of power in the Middle East. In this context, a strong Resistance must be built to survive this tyranny. But the fact that war is considered the sole instrument for resolving controversies and conflicts is itself the new plague of our time, one that breeds dictatorships.

The responsibility of the feudal and autocratic Arab regimes of the Gulf must undoubtedly be emphasized, for they have tied their economies, their defenses, and their destinies to an unjust and disrespectful America, which, even in the current context, after the trillions of dollars given to it, seems indifferent to the devastation caused by the attack on Iran and the disregard for international law.
